About pinemas

This work, done in 1991, arises from a desire to incorporate poetry into painting and to investigate the different possibilities of this interrelation. The type of poetry incorporated is known as haiku, a very short poem of three lines, that for the Japanese poet represents a spiritual path to follow. It reveals in an instant, as an illumination, the emotion of the human being as a result of the intense impact of a moment.

Someone said that the function of art is to create “in the experience, a temporary eternity that is more similar to the experience that the experience itself”. To perpetuate sensations, giving them a new life and transforming them into new visions of this world.
